A Family Celebration: Tools for the Crown, Wisdom for the Journey

Blended Together LIVE: Crowned & Confident is an immersive experience designed for families experiencing differences of race and culture. Anchored in the vital role hair plays in a child’s sense of belonging, this event features mainstage moments with Celebrity Hair Stylist Johnny Wright, Multi-Cultural Identity Expert Dr. Jenn, and April Dinwoodie, transracially adopted person and Multi-Cultural Family Expert.

Connected to the trusted, affirming space of Together on the Journey (TRJ) Transracial Adoptive Family Camp, this celebration extends TRJ’s foundation of community and courage to the broader public. Through live demonstrations and interactive activations, families are empowered to see hair and beauty as cultural and relational touchpoints that nurtures the whole child.
