April Dinwoodie is a proud woman of color, a transracially adopted person, and a nationally recognized thought leader and advocate on adoption and foster care. She provided important and insightful perspective to family camp for multiple years as a speaker and advisor before assuming the role of Executive Director in 2018.

April brings extensive experience as a Podcaster, Speaker, Consultant, and Writer at Born in June, Raised in April, as the Creator of AdoptMent, and former CEO of the Donaldson Adoption Institute.

Chairperson

Kurt Harvey is a proud father of two transracially adopted children and brings more than 22 years of experience in positioning businesses for sustainable growth and value creation.

He is President and Founder of H4V Enterprises and Managing Director at Caber Hill Advisors, with prior leadership roles at Great Expressions Dental Centers, KPMG, Deloitte, and Andersen.

Michelle Daray

Michelle Daray

Treasurer

Michelle Daray is a nonprofit leader and operations executive with nearly a decade of service on the TRJ Board of Directors. As Treasurer, she supports financial health and strategic planning.

She serves as Chief Operating Officer at Daray Law and previously co-founded Yummie by Heather Thomson, growing it into a $30M brand.

Dedicated father, husband, and volunteer Cj Rosenstiel believes in the power of advocacy to transform lives. Cj leverages his diverse experience in IT Security and Early Childhood Education to serve as a digital and administrative pillar for Together on the Journey.

As the organizations Secretary, Communications Chair, and Webmaster, he ensures the community stays informed, secure, and connected. Cj is fueled by a love for creative problem-solving and a deep-seated commitment to community building.

Martha Loughridge

Martha Loughridge

Member

Martha Loughridge brings 30 years of nonprofit management and fundraising experience and currently serves as Director of Development and Special Events at Stonebrook Montessori.

She holds a Masters Degree in Nonprofit Organization Management from Case Western Reserve University and a B.A. in International Development from Brown University.
