Our Vision

We envision a world where no transracially adopted person has to choose between parts of who they are - a world where race and adoption are not isolating experiences, but pathways to confidence, cultural pride, and authentic connection. TRJ is creating a future where:

  • Children grow up knowing they belong.
  • Parents are equipped to parent across race with humility and understanding.
  • Lifelong friendships and mentorships form, building an intergenerational network of support.
  • Children see their hair, skin, and full selves as sources of pride, beauty, and power.
  • Transracially adopted persons are valued as leaders, experts, and change-makers in their own narratives.
