At a time when multiracial and multicultural families are navigating unimaginable challenges layered onto the existing complexities of adoption, TRJ invites our community in with intention, clarity, and love. Our 2026 theme reflects exactly who we are and how we move.

Our Values in Action

  • Community Strengthens: We build a beloved community rooted in respect and belonging. Here, no child is isolated and no one carries their experience alone.

  • Culture Grounds: Race, heritage, and lived experience are essential. Children see their hair, skin, and history reflected with knowledge and care.

  • Courage Stretches: We speak directly about race, adoption, and identity. We remain engaged even when discomfort surfaces to protect our children.

  • Care Sustains: Every detail is designed to support the family. Care is active, informed, and culturally responsive.

The Essentials: Our New Home at Ohio University

We have found a home on the Ohio University campus where the facilities and the spirit meet our camp ethos.Campers on escalator

  • All-Inclusive Dining: Meals are held at the campus cafeteria with options for all dietary needs.
